On December 3, the Fuguang 500kV transmission and transformation project of Jiangxi Province's key project was successfully put into operation. The commissioning of this project can achieve full launch and timely delivery of 1,400MW of new thermal power units in Phase II of Fengcheng Power Plant, meet the power demand caused by the recent super cold wave in the province, and provide strong power guarantee for Jiangxi Province to welcome peak winter.
Fuguangbian is the 6th 500kV substation in Nanchang, which mainly meets the development of electricity in key areas such as Lugang New City, Xiaolan Industrial Park, and Xianghu New City. After completion, the problem of insufficient power supply support in southern Nanchang will be solved, and the power supply capacity and reliability will be significantly improved.
It is understood that the total dynamic investment of the Fuguang 500kV transmission and transformation project exceeds 500 million yuan, and the cable line project has built 106 new towers, with a total length of more than 44 kilometers, passing through Nanchang and Yichun cities.
This project is the only 500kV transmission and transformation project to be put into operation in Jiangxi Province this year, and is of great significance to the annual power grid for peak winter. In order to ensure the safe, high-quality and efficient construction of the project, State Grid Jiangxi Construction Company organized all participating units to overcome the influence of adverse factors such as strong convective weather and external complex construction environment in the first half of the year, and achieved the installation test of the main transformer in 20 days. The high-voltage test of all key electrical equipment was successfully passed at one time, creating the fastest record of installation test of similar electrical equipment in the province, and successfully completed the power transmission task. The construction unit Jiangxi Power Transmission and Transformer Company vigorously promotes and applies mechanized construction, taking the creation of a smart benchmark construction site as a starting point, carefully planned and scientifically accelerated to achieve the "starting construction in the same year and putting into operation" of the substation project. In less than 9 months, the sixth 500kV substation project in Nanchang City was completed and put into operation.
This project can meet the power load development needs of Changnan area of Nanchang City, alleviate the pressure of 500kV Jinxian Bulk and Houtian Bulk, improve the power supply reliability of the regional power grid, and create conditions for long-term ultra-high voltage cable access.
